The prestigious award was presented on June 17 at a ceremony organized for Water Utility Day by Csaba Lantos, Minister of Energy, and Zsolt V. Németh, State Secretary responsible for the water utility sector, at the Ministry of Energy. Zoltán Istókovics was nominated for the recognition by the Hungarian Water Utility Association (MaVíz), thereby also honoring his exemplary professional work at the sectoral level.
Zoltán Istókovics has been working in the domestic water utility sector for more than two decades, and his work has always been characterized by dedication, professionalism, and a long-term sustainability approach. As the head of Szegedi Vízmű, he continuously works to provide the residents of the city on the banks of the Tisza with high-quality, safe, and environmentally conscious water and sewage services.
