Between May 16–18, the Hungarian Association of District Heating Service Providers (MATÁSZSZ) held its 3rd Professional Forum, which is considered the second largest event in the district heating sector, alongside the traditional MATÁSZSZ conference. The special feature of the event was that the programs took place in thematic sections, so this year technical, legal, and PR topics were also included in the event.
During her presentation, Ágnes Oláh, Head of Marketing, gave the participants a comprehensive overview of Veolia's customer communication practices: the local information solutions, our publications, as well as the results of customer satisfaction surveys, which in 2024 also confirmed the high standard of Veolia's district heating service.
Special attention was given to our “Talent Deserves a Chance” program, which for the third year now supports the artistic talent development of young people living in state care. So far, nearly 150 children have had the opportunity to try their creativity in painting, sculpture, or photography, alongside which they receive mentoring support, psychological, and professional assistance. The aim of the program is to strengthen the participants' self-confidence and conscious thinking in the long term, as well as to give them a chance to thrive in adult life.
For Veolia Hungary, it is highly important to actively participate in the community and professional life of the district heating sector and to contribute to building a sustainable future through its corporate social responsibility programs.
